Cascade Flute Circle

The Cascade Flute Circle meets the 4th Tuesday of every month in Kirkland, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm.

Lake Washington United Methodist Church
7525 132nd Ave NE
Kirkland, WA 98003

The Lake Washington United Methodist Church offers the use of the church community room for this gathering, at a reduced cost, which requires us to ask for a $5.00 donation for each meeting.

The community rooms open atrium type space offers wonderful acoustics that complement and enhance the sound of the flute. The meetings are open to any one who wants to play, learn to play or simply want to sit and listen to the flute. There are generally several flute makers attending the meetings with their latest flute builds, bags, racks, CD’s, books and items that support the flute experience. If you are looking for lessons, many of the flute makers will be happy to show you the basics, and/or provide more formal classes.

We are a gathering of “learners” and at any given meeting there is ample time for informal discussion and playing. The meetings always have time for “open mike” type of member presentations. Some times there are additional, scheduled performances by individuals or groups from outside the circle membership.
